Here at ProSweep, we are proud to serve the Yorkshire Coast, giving a professional chimney sweep service.
When we perform a chimney sweep, we use various equipment: Wire and polypropylene brushes to clean and unblock every part of your chimney. We use a special industrial Micro-filter Vacuum that we run throughout the sweep, we catch even the tiniest dust particles.
We leave your chimney clear from obstruction and safe to use. After our clean we perform a smoke draw test, so you can safely heat your home knowing that your highly trained Chimney Sweep has meticulously inspected, cleared and cleaned your chimney.
We also take care of wood burners and flues as well, so if you need yours cleaning, you have come to the right place.
Our pricing is 100% transparent, the price that we quote is the price that you will pay so there will be no nasty surprises.

Open Fire Chimney Sweep - £55
Your chimney will be thoroughly swept, the back shelf will be vacuumed, the fire basket will be cleaned and vacuumed. Your stove will be cleaned and the fireplace hearth will also be vacuumed. We aim to leave your hearth as clean as we found it or even cleaner if we can! A smoke test will be performed to ensure the chimney is operating correctly.
Multi-fuel Stove / Chimney / Liner Sweep - £55
For this service your chimney will be thoroughly swept. Taking out the firebricks and baffle plate, then including cleaning out the stove. We will check every part of the stove including the glass and door seal condition. A smoke test will be performed to ensure the chimney is operating correctly.
Bird Nest Removal - £70*
* For first 90 minutes. Thereafter £30 per additional hour. Nests can take from an hour to all day for very large nest.
The price does not include sweeping of the chimney, this will be charged at half the normal rate.
Carbon Monoxide Alarm - £30 fitted
Peace of mind to keep you and your family safe.
Cowls supplied and fitted - £90 + cost of cowl
Prevents birds, leaves or vermin from entering the chimney and debris build-up.
Specialist cowls can be fitted to increase updraft and we can advise on the best cowl for you requirements and budget.
Payments
Payment is due on the day of the appointment, except where agreed in advance.
You may pay by cash, mobile transfer, Paypal or cheque.
Cancellations
If you have to change or cancel an appointment please give as much notice as possible. We reserve the right to charge a call-out fee in the event that no-one is home when we attend the property at the agreed time and we cannot gain access. We also reserve the right to charge in the event of a last minute cancellation.
